Charming double-sided painting by folk artist Earl Swanigan. Based out of Hudson, NY, Swanigan was a prolific painter in the community that painted a wide range of subject matters. Using acrylic paint on plywood, Swanigan painted a portrait of a black cat against a turmeric colored background on the front and a scene of a male figure watching a female figure bathe on the reverse.
