1930s Salon Suite by Josef Hoffmann for J & J Kohn and Mundus - ON SALE

Was $11,200 / Now $8,960!

An exceptional, rare salon suite designed by Josef Hoffmann and manufactured by J&J Kohn in the 1930s. The suite consists of a settee, café table, and two armchairs. Each finely crafted piece is comprised of bent beechwood with a warm rosewood mahogany finish. All pieces are re-upholstered in a woven cotton with intersecting blue and white threads that follow an intercrossing triangle and line pattern. The bentwood frame of the chairs form an elegant horseshoe. The pedestal table's top is crafted with a glass insert overlain on the same upholstery fabric underneath. Its base is rimmed with brass. Other elegant design features include the openwork frame and carved ridges of the arms and legs of the chairs and settee.

A sample of the upholstery fabric is available. Please send us a message to inquire.
