Charlotte Perriand "Infraphil" Heat Table Lamps or Sconces by Philips

A pair of "Infraphil" table lamps designed by the architect Charlottee Perriand for Philips. Manufactured in the 1950s in the Netherlands. The lamps were originally intended as heat lamps, but they can be used as decorative accent lamps or sconces. Perriand sought to create sleek, elegant form that was functional. The lamps' minimal design encapsulates that in the bold palette of the handle and globe, the dynamic conical shape of the body, and overall lightness of the lamps.
