This stunning pair of table lamps was designed by Carl Fagerlund for the Swedish glasswork company Orrefors in the 1950s. The lamp bodies are exemplary of the manufacturer's dedication to craft. The thick art glass is beautifully bulbous in texture and shape. It is capped with a polished nickel at top, where Orrefors's etched logo can be seen. Both lamps are newly rewired with new chrome hardware and single bulb-sockets. They've been paired with excellent black hardback shades with a silver interior lining, a perfect complement to the icicle-like quality of the glass. The resulting light is magical.
