1960s Chromed Steel Orbiter Floor Lamp by Robert Sonneman

A classic Mid-Century floor lamp designed by Robert Sonneman. The lamp is comprised of a chromed steel column that arches at the top and connects to an arm, which in turn holds the globe light. The column is secured at the bottom by a round counterweight base. Sonneman's design is renowned for its adjustable form and dynamic range. The arc con rotate at the stem and the arm can pivot around, allowing the glob to "orbit" at an axis. A black patinated metal handle allows for easy movement of the arm.

The lamp is newly rewired. Sonneman brand logo is attached to the top of the column.
