1960s Leather & Rosewood Bench by Ice Parisi

This finely crafted modernist bench was designed by the Italian designer Ico Parisi in the 1960s. It is comprised of cushioned seating and a rosewood base. The seating is newly reupholstered in red-brown leather from Edelman. It is button-tufted, giving the cushion a softness accentuated by the leather's warm tone. Parisi designed the base with the smooth lines of modern furniture. Intersecting pieces are connected with sturdy joints and constructed to hold the seat in place.

The bench is versatile and its wide surface can also be used as a coffee table surface.

The seating and base can be disassembled into two separate pieces, for transportation and storage. It is in
very good condition. The rosewood base has minor surface wear consistent with its age and use.
