19th Century Cherry & Chestnut Chest of Drawers

This elegant case piece first began its life as the top of a highboy chest. It has since been converted into a chest of drawers with ample storage space. There are 2 small drawers atop 4 full-length drawers. The chest is hand-crafted from chestnut and cherry wood with brass escutcheons and pulls. We love the wood's warm tones and how beautifully it has aged over the years. The top has beautiful woodwork in the molded edges that are echoed in the fluted facade trims and bracket feet.

43 in. width

Condition notes:
In fair condition with age splitting on both sides and in one drawer. Surface wear to wood that's consistent with the chest's age and use.
