19th Century French Neoclassical-Style Porcelain Urn

An ornate French porcelain urn crafted in the 19th Century. The design of the urn is in the Neoclassical style, which in turn is inspired by ancient Greek and Roman art. Blue and white floral patterns form a beautiful lattice on the body of the urn, while hand-painted gilt accentuates the urn's curved decoration throughout. These include the urn's three scrolled and scalloped legs and raised feather motifs. The urn is enjoined to a round base that mirrors the colors and adornments of the urn's body. A fine patina developed over time adds to the urn's elegance.

Condition notes:

In very good condition with wear appropriate for the urn's age and use. A patina has developed throughout. There are surface cracks on the base's surface and underneath, but the overall structure is sound.
