Antique Camphorwood Trunk

This antique camphorwood was hand-crafted in China in the Late 19th Century. It is brass-bound on the corners and edges, with bail handles mounted to the sides. The wood has a warm tone with rich, visible grain stripes. It has accrued marks over the years, giving the chest character and a palpable sense of history. The interior has ample storage space, including a narrow upper compartment.
