Antique Rhode Island William & Mary Highboy

Handcrafted in the Late 17th-Early 18th Century in Rhode Island, this two-part highboy typifies the William & Mary style with its combination of curved and linear forms. It's comprised of mahogany wood with burled walnut veneer. The upper half consists of 2 small drawers and 3 full-length drawers, while the bottom half consists of 3 small drawers. We love the detailing of the trumpet legs with the curving stretcher and the ball feet, which strike a beautiful balance with the straight lines of the body. The brass pulls are a later replacement and as well as the refinish.

Dimensions:
39.5 in. width
21.5 in. depth
62 in. height

Condition notes:
In good condition. Wear to wood includes surface scratches, corner dents, and minor loss to veneer, all consistent with the highboy's age and use.
