Life as a Photographer by Inge Morath

A collection of black-and-white photographs by the Austrian-born American photographer Inge Morath (1923-2002). Published in conjunction with an exhibition in Germany. This richly illustrated book spans Morath's long, prolific career. A member of Magnum Photos Agency since the 1950s, Morath created images that are striking for their intimacy and evocative atmosphere. She was a writer and worked as journalist. Her experiences during the Second World War shaped her point of view and the lives she depicts in her photographs.
