Mid-20th Century Brutalist Brass Coffee Table in the Style of Silas Seandel

A remarkable round Brutalist coffee or side table handcrafted in the Mid-20th Century. It is comprised of patinated and enameled brass, and fashioned in the style of sculptor & furniture designer Silas Seandel, who creates pieces in unique, textured forms. This tabletop is soldered with a sun or star emblem at the center. The base features the classic rugged and jagged forms of Brutalist furniture. Openwork "slits" alternate with brass panels covered in a moss-green patina and bronze enamel.

The table is in very good condition with minor surface wear appropriate to its age and use.
