Mid-Century Velvet & Walnut Sofa by Erwin-Lambeth

An exceptional two-seat sofa designed and manufactured by Erwin-Lambeth in the 1960s. The exquisite woodwork is apparent in the sculpted walnut that crowns the sofa and follows the frame's elegant, inward curve. The upholstery is taupe-hued velvet with a soft, striated pattern. The back cushion is button-tufted. There are six legs that taper downward. The rear side legs are constructed with a slight splay.

The sofa is in very good condition & structurally sound. There's slight wear appropriate for the sofa's age & use. The walnut has minor surface scuffs & dents that add to the organic feel of the wood. The velvet fabric is a later reupholstery work.
