Pair of 1940s Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamps

An exceptional pair of blue ceramic table lamps, crafted in Denmark, 1940s. They are shaped with an elegant scalloped neck that leads to an urn body, which in turn rests on a circular base. A nice glaze covers a rich, stippled blue coat with subtle gold contours. An aged brass caps the ceramic. The base is black, lacquered wood. These lamps are newly rewired, each with a single bulb socket and new cord switches. Their shades are new and hand-tailored, consisting of parchment and silk. This is truly a remarkable pair. Not only will they light up your space, they will also add an undeniable stroke of color.
