Pair of 19th Century Chinese Ancestral Portraits, Qing Dynasty Era

A pair of Chinese ancestral portraits, painted in the 19th Century during the Qing Dynasty era. The portraits are rendered in watercolors and gouaches on paper.  Each seated figure is dressed in richly hued robes. The Mandarin duck insignia adorns their chest as a badge. Civil rank badges depicting this symbol signify an official seventh ranking. 

The portraits are matted and framed in giltwood frame.
