20th Century Chinese Six Panel Folding Screen

This tall Chinese folding screen was made in the 20th Century. It consists of six panels constructed into two parts of three. They are made of a light wood, most likely cypress, with a warm red-brown finish. On one side, the panels are decorated with incised and painted images of blossoms, birds, and objects of study. The other side is plain in contrast, the wood having a smoother and more glossy surface. Overall, a finely crafted decorative piece.

Dimensions of each panel: 18 in. width x 82.5 in. height x 1 in. thickness
Dimensions when panels are fully opened: 109 in. width x 82.5 in. height

Condition notes:
In good condition and structurally sound, with general surface wear to the wood that consists of light scratches and nicks, all consistent with the screen's age and use.
