This antique West Anatolian Ghiordes rug has aged beautifully over the decades. It was handwoven in Türkiye in the early 20th Century and is comprised of wool in a rich palette of red, pale yellow, and light blue. The design features a central medallion in a field of red, which is in turn framed by a series of borders with geometric, floral patterns. The rug has been newly cleaned.
