Danish Modern Black Leather Armchair by Frits Henningsen

This black leather armchair was designed by Frits Henningsen. Made in the 1960s, it is a Danish Modern take on a traditional armchair - smooth-lined while maintaining an open, inviting shape suited for relaxing. We love the monochrome button tufting set into the backrest and the subtle curves that shape the arms and turns the back ever slightly inward. The chair's columnar legs are beech wood crafted with a slight taper at the front and splayed at the back.

Dimensions:
28 in. width
26 in. depth
29.5 in. overall height
24 in. arm height
15 in. seat height
19 in. seat depth

Condition notes:
In good, sound condition with general surface wear to leather upholstery and beech legs. Wear includes light scratches and denting to leather, all consistent with the chair's age and use. The chair is a good candidate for restoration.
