Danish Modern Mohair Wingback Armchair in the Style of Frits Henningsen

Made in the 1950s, this Danish Modern armchair takes after the style of Frits Henningsen, whose furniture designs combined traditional craftsmanship and modern sensibilities. The chair's upholstery is a light-green mohair and its legs are beechwood. The chair is remarkable for its simplified lines and rounded corners which come together to create a modern wingback. Other noteworthy features include the elegant the button-tufted backrest, gray rope piping, tapered front legs, and splayed back legs.
