Early 20th Century Gilt Painted Mirror in the Neoclassical Style

An elegant, finely aged wall mirror in the Neoclassical style. Crafted in the early 20th Century. The frame is comprised of wood painted with gold and a burgundy hue. The gilt detailing highlights certain elements of the mirror, such as the remarkable finials at the top. A floral pattern in gilt decorates the front of the cornice. The visible worn surface of the mirror frame adds a tinge of history, instead of lessening the quality of the mirror as a whole. Overall, this is a special mirror that will give your space a simple, but palpable touch of the classical.

The back is protected with paper lining, with notes hand-written on the surface by its previous owner. Wire has been installed for hanging.

Condition: Overall the mirror is in good condition with visible wear to the wood, such as cracking in some areas, though it does not compromise the mirror's structure.
