Early 20th Century Hand-Knotted Kazak Rug | 10'4" x 6'9"

This antique wool Kazak rug was hand-knotted in the Early 19th Century in the Caucasus region.  The palette is a bold blend of reds, blues, pinks, and yellows. An intricate design of geometric motifs animate the surface. This rug has aged beautifully over the years, with some fading that adds a painterliness to the palette and contributes to the rug's character and value.

Condition notes:
In good condition, with general wear to the pile that's consistent with the rug's age and use. Newly cleaned.
