Made in the 1960s, this brass floor lamp is remarkable for its simple and balanced design, and for its textured surface, which has aged beautifully over the years. The lamp has a square base that tapers upward, thinning at the middle and then widening into a square top. It is rewired and equipped with a dimmer switch on the cord, and paired with a custom-fitted linen shade. The lamp has a cluster of three bulb sockets. Modest in height, the lamp makes for an ideal ambient lighting near an armchair for reading and relaxing.
