Pair of Early 20th Century Persian Rug Throw Pillows

A pair of pillows consisting of fragments from a Persian rug that was itself hand-made in the Early 20th Century. The design is a rich pattern of floral and geometric motifs in a palette of copper-brown, red, blue, green, black, and yellow. The pillows vary slight in dimensions. They have brown canvas backing with zippers for the pillow insert.

Pillow 1: 21.5 in. width x 17.5 in. height x 5.5 in. depth
Pillow 2: 21.5 in. width x 16 in. height x 5.5 in. depth

Condition notes:
Overall in sound shape. Surface wear consistent with the pillows' age & use and adds to their appeal and character. Some thinning to wool foundation of rug fragments. One pillow has a small corner hole and water stain to the canvas backing.
