Small Early 20th Century Hamadan Rug | 3'3" x 5'1"

Vibrant and compact Persian Hamadan Rug, woven in the first quarter of the 20th century. Hamadan Rugs, which are single cotton-wefted rugs woven in a region west of modern day Iran, are most distinguishable by their rich color stories and geometric patterns. This rug was designed with a dark blue field with a Herati pattern in shades of pink, red, tan, and ivory.

In good condition, consistent with the rugs age and use. Some fraying at edges to be expected.
