Cafiero Select is a tight-knit, dynamic NYC based interior design studio with a high end furnishings store. Our work has been featured in AD, Elle Decor, New York Magazine, World of Interiors, and more.
We are growing our team and seek someone to assist in all aspects of the design process, with an emphasis on CAD, 2D, and 3D modeling.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of design proposals and presentations for clients
- Draft detailed digital floor plans, elevations, detail drawings, and RCP’s in AutoCAD
- Help compile schedules for plumbing, hardware, finishes, lighting, etc.
- Generate work orders for design showrooms and vendors RFP’s
- Manage sample library and place sample orders
- Tracking FF&E orders and monitor delivery schedules
- Assist on site surveys, contractor and client walkthroughs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Design Studies or Other relevant field
- Fluency with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, the Apple ecosystem and MacOS applications. Proficiency with Enscape, Revit, and Rhino a plus
- A proactive and creative individual with strong interpersonal communication
- A growth-mindset who demonstrates an eagerness to learn
- Detail-oriented and highly-organized
- Deadline-driven with ability to connect results with goals
- Passion for design, architecture, and art
- Capable to work alongside a team and independently
- Experience at a residential design studio not required but a plus
- Ability to work in person in Manhattan
