1940s Danish Modern Settee in the Style of Finn Juhl

This Finn Juhn-style settee was originally crafted in the 1940s. It has been newly reupholstered in gold-and-black chevron wool from Donghia with matching piping. While the upholstery is new, the settee maintains its original Danish Modern shape: a high, angled back with slight wingback tips that curve inward down into the arms. The splayed walnut legs, supported by a stretcher, are on casters. In addition to the reuphosltery work, the settee has new cushioning and webbing, and the walnut has been refinished.

Dimensions:
52 in. width
26 in. depth
34 in. height
24 in. arm height

Condition notes:
In overall very good condition and structurally sound. Wear to the legs that's consistent with settee's age and use, including visible repair to one of the back legs. Newly reupholstered. New cushioning and webbing. Newly refinished wood.
