17th Century Jacobean Oak Blanket Chest

Made in the 17th Century, this Jacobean blanket chest was handcrafted from oak. The wood has a warm, burnt-umber tone. It has aged beautifully over the centuries and accrued textures that add to the chest's character and history. Fine decorative woodwork adorns the front panels in star and geometric designs. The chest has a flat, hinged top and bracket legs.
