This antique Swedish credenza was hand-crafted in the 19th Century from elm wood. The elegance of the woodwork, with its Gustavian style restraint, contrasts with the wood's weathered textures. Intentionally distressed or as a result of age, the surfaces of the credenza show remnants of paint layers, like a beautiful palimpsest revealing the history of its making. Smooth lines and rounded corners characterize the overall soft look. Structurally, this credenza has two hinged doors that open to a wide interior storage space. The doors come with functioning keys and locks.
