1960s Danish Modern Sofa in Lavender Linen

Originally crafted in the 1960s, this cozy Danish Modern sofa was later reupholstered in a gray lavender linen, with elegantly tailored tufting on the back and seat cushions. The splayed legs are ebonized hardwood and give the sofa a good height. Rounded forms, low arms that curve into the seat, and a subtly slanted back are visually reminiscent of the "Scoop" sofa by R. Huber & Co. This sofa is similarly sculptural and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. While the sofa is good as is, it can benefit from new reupholstery work.

Dimensions:
82 in. width
29 in. depth
36 in. height
19.5 in. arm height
18 in. seat height
21.5 in. seat depth
11 in. floor clearance

Condition notes:
In overall fair condition and structurally sound, with surface wear to wood frame and some areas of discoloration to the upholstery, all consistent with the sofa's age and use. A good candidate for new reupholstery work.
