This English camphor wood chest was hand-crafted in the 19th Century. The wood has aged beautifully over the years, with an overall smooth external surface that has a warm burnt-orange tone and rich grain. Brass decorates the bottom of the front side as a trim, as well as a key plate, inset pull, and medallion crest on the top. On either side is a bail handle for transport. The hinged lid opens to ample storage space, perfect for blankets and miscellaneous items. With its proportions and sturdy build, the chest is versatile and can be used both for storage and as a table.
