Hand-crafted in the 18th Century, this antique William & Mary lowboy is made from maple wood. An elegant mixture of straight and curved lines characterizes this style, with intricate woodturning and carving. These can be seen especially in the apron, legs, and cross stretcher bar. The overall structure of the lowboy - relatively simpler than previous styles - allows for the wood stand out with its rich grain pattern. The maple has aged beautifully over the centuries and has a warm, honey-brown tone. There are three drawers with brass teardrop pulls.
