Danish Art Deco Mahogany Lounge Chairs in Donghia Gold Chevron - A Pair

An exquisite pair of Danish Art Deco lounge chairs originally crafted in the 1930s in the style of Frits Henningsen. A mix of rounded and subtly angled lines and a curved back characterize the overall shape of the chairs. The arms elegantly transition into a more traditional cabriole-shaped legs at the front. The mahogany wood has been refinished and has a warm, red-brown tone, while the upholstery has been completely redone in a gold chevron wool from Donghia. Features like the channeled back and tailored piping keep true to the considered craftsmanship of the original design.
